Downloading Messages

Thank you for purchasing a customized ILY poster! Follow the instructions on our page to download Facebook messages. Contact us with any questions.

Step 1 

Log in and Access Settings: Log into Facebook and navigate to the Settings & Privacy menu.

Step 2

Download Your Information: Select "Your Facebook Information," then "Download Your Information."

Step 3

Select Messages and Format: Choose JSON as the format, deselect all other options, and select only "Messages."

Step 4

Create and Download File: Click "Create File" and follow the instructions to download the ZIP file when it's ready.

Step 5

Extract and Access Messages: Extract the ZIP file, and your messages will be organized in separate JSON files within. Pick the conversation you want to share, by the name of the file.

Awesome! All you need to do now is upload your json file with messages and we'll take it from there!
